We recently stayed at Shadow Angkor Villa for 5 nights on a leisure trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and the tuktuk drivers outside the hotel were excellent. We enjoyed the variety of options for breakfast, both from the buffet and the menu. The hotel's location was ideal, with the old market just a short 10-minute walk away. We also discovered a fantastic cafe down the street with affordable drinks and pastries. we were impressed by the hotel's cleanliness, spacious rooms, and the helpfulness of the staff. We would gladly stay here again.

The complex is great and the pool is the highlight. Cleanliness and equipment are not objectionable.

The staff was rather inattentive and could not speak English at all. The room cleaning took place only after our excursion around 14:00 and not in the time of our absence. The breakfast was fine, our 4th order came only on demand and unfortunately did not correspond to the order (we were the only four breakfast guests). Overall, the price did not correspond to the performance.

The sanitary facilities (shower) are in need of repair.

Immediate response to my complaint about mosquitoes in the room. - Well-located for tourists, just a short walk from Pub Street. - Close to some great cafes. - Hotel organized tours and transfers. - Spacious room with a separate shower area. - Small pool area to relax after a day of exploring.

The staff is very nice, the location is great and it is very clean. The pool offers a small cooling.

The bathroom was no longer fully functional. Shower door didn't close. Air conditioning didn't work properly. The breakfast service didn't work. It was not brought the order that was desired and also only on demand complete. There's a construction site outside the door, so there's a lot of noise.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful. We also liked the location very much, there were a lot of extremely good cafés and restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel has become a bit old (TV and safe didn't work with us, the pool area was definitely more stylish), but everything was great for us.

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. the staff at Shadow Angkor Villa were amazing, they were so friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. the hotel had a welcoming and homey atmosphere, and the concierge even greeted us with a refreshing glass of lemon grass and ginger tea upon our arrival. the location was great, with many local restaurants and the famous Pub Street within walking distance. the room was spacious and well-equipped, and the pool was a perfect spot to relax. it was a wonderful experience.

Great Location and Friendly Staff

While staying at Shadow Angkor Villa, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel's fantastic location. It was just a short stroll away from bustling markets, charming restaurants, and lively pubs. The convenience of being able to explore the city on foot was truly a bonus.

It was away from the busy centre but we could still walk to town. Loved the wooden colonials style. Arranged a nice tuk tuk driver for us.

Pillows were too high for me.

the room was incredibly spacious, and I loved the fact that it had a large balcony with seating and a table. the pool was refreshing, and I enjoyed a great breakfast every morning. the reception staff went above and beyond by allowing me to use their computer when my iPad was stolen. the hotel's location was ideal, situated on a busy corner near bars, restaurants, shopping, and convenient tuk-tuk transportation. it was a fantastic experience at Shadow Angkor Villa. Cons: Nothing bad to say. 😊.

shadow angkor villa was the perfect base for exploring siem reap. great staff, tasty breakfast, and a convenient location near the old market. loved our spacious room and relaxing on the balcony with morning coffee.

I had an amazing time at this charming hotel! The room was nicely decorated and very clean, giving me a good night's sleep without any disturbing noises. The value for money was great and the location was perfect - walking distance to the bustling pub street but situated in a quiet and safe area. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The small pool was a refreshing addition after a long, hot day of sightseeing. I also appreciated the early breakfast hours and the convenience of being able to rent an e-bike and charge it at the hotel.

The breakfast offerings could be improved slightly.
